Labor Day Weekend in Klondike

We went to Klondike to see Jillery, Tyler, and Ethan over the Labor Day weekend. Just a short lil' road trip to see the family and spend some time together now that summer is officially over. Ethan is now 9 months old and he's getting so big. Here they are bathing and playing together...I'm sure these two will be pretty close growing up together.

I love, love, love his hair..He's a wild lil' guy!

PawPaw was feeding Zoee some lunch. They love to spend time together.

Zoee was loving on or possibly pestering, Kinzi..LOL
Zoee was getting in trouble for being ugly to Ethan..It's already started. I'm trying to teach her to share..and most of the time she does..but not on this occasion. She would knock him down and tell him, "No", which happens to be her favorite word at the moment. HA HA

As you can see..he's not happy when his Daddy and Mommy leave the room.

He can walk the couch or baby gate and gets around by crawling really well now.

Love those ROSEY LIL' CHEEKS..Looks like she has blush on.

Trying to fit in somewhere she's not suppose to be.

When we got home, Grammy taught her to put her coins in her piggy bank. She really liked this.

My Oh My..How the Time Flies!

Well, it's here. The year and a half mark of Zoee's sweet life. I still can't believe it's going by so fast. They always said it would..but I didn't quite believe 'em, I guess. HA HA! She is so independent, curious, sweet most of the time, dare devil in disguise, and is smart as a whip. I have a pediatrician that seems to agree..LOL Speaking of pediatrician. We went and saw Dr. Ranga today for her 18-month check up. She said everything was great except Zoee had gained a little too much weight too quickly. What I mean is she went from 45th percentile to 75th percentile in weight. I couldn't believe it, because to me she doesn't seem to eat enough. But she's where she is suppose to be. She now weighs 26 lbs and has gained 4 1/2 lbs. in 3 months. She is still really tall for her age..measuring in the 95th percentile again at 33 3/4 inches tall. She threw the biggest fit throughout the whole time we were there except for the time when Dr. Ranga was in the room. I'm sure everybody in the waiting room and all the nurses were glad to see us get out of there. I've never seen her throw that big of a fit EVER. I'm really wondering if she knows and recalls that the doctor's office is a not-so-nice place to be?? Because that is that place where she has to get prodded and poked for her shots. She wasn't having any part of it..let me tell ya. I was quite embarassed because I don't want to be known as the "Mom with the kid who fits all the time" I mean, she's usually an angel when we go out to places, unless she's tired..she gets a little fussy..but nothing like this today. WHEW! After she recieved her shots, 3 of them, (POOR BABY) she stopped crying and settled down, only as we were leaving..LOL She looked great and Dr. Ranga checked her motor skills, she gave her a high-five, and a hug (I love Dr. Ranga because of that) and we were on our way home. I wanted to take a pic of her at the doctor's office..but she was all blotchy (like I get when I cry) and unhappy..so I decided not to. But here are some pics from our day together on Zoee's YEAR AND A HALF BIRTHDAY!
We went to the mall..and let her play on all the fun things.

In the ice cream truck..a little boy got in with her.

Always making sure to look in her blind spot...LOL

Riding the My Little Pony
Our very first attempt with playing on the playground at the mall.

She really really loved it. I didn't think she would do it..but she did.

She was grinning from ear to ear.
Next came her very first Carousel ride.

NY2LA Concert & Summer Mummers

This week was amazing and so much fun. I spent the week off from work at home with Zoee because of the daycare situation. On Tuesday night, we went to our church, Odessa Christian Faith Center because Press Play was there.

It was absolutely awesome. I so wasn't expecting it to be this cool. So glad I went.
We also attended Summer Mummers for the first time ever on Friday. It's an annual thing that is held in Midland, Texas. It's a vaudeville play with antics and full of comedy...it's so fun. While you are watching it you are allowed to throw popcorn at each other. When we left, I had popcorn in a ton of unmentionable parts. They bombarded me and put it down my shirt and pants...LOL

Our first Summer Mummer experience

Courtney won us free tickets and Riley came with us, too!
Trays and Trays of buttery goodness. It was so yummy and fun to throw.

This pic is so hilarious...belly and all!

Nothing like a "hot oil Butter" hair treatment..LOL
Mike already had butter stains on his shirt...and the night was half way through.

The Buttery Popcorn Gang

The popcorn throwing has commenced...

Mike was having way too much fun!

September Shenanigans

Looking for toys with Daddy

She found her clacker..this thing has been around forever and she loves it!

And searching for something else to drag out or get into!

Dancing to Daddy's music

Playing the clacker in her new PJ's

They love to play music together..it's so hilarious cause Mike acts like a "BIG" kid

Our new puppy, Lola, having fun..she is obsessed with Zoee's big duck!

Zoee was so pooped she crashed out in the dog bed..ha ha

And then offerred me some milk...she's so giving.

Zoee loves everything Mickey Mouse and all the characters included.

Riding in the car to church.

Okay this is hilarious because Mom said when I was little..I used to hold up my finger (#1) to be precise and walk around like that..stating I'm #1. Well, Zoee does the same thing.

Miss "Z" is always on the go..hard to get a good picture of her at this age.

Zoee is completely obsessed with our scale. She loves to get on it at least 3-6 times a day..sometimes more. I hope this is not an incling of what is to be in her future. I think she just likes to see it light up as she steps on.

This is the perfect picture of what my house looks like at the end of the day...sometimes about 3-4 times a day if I clean up after her when we are home alone together. And Zoee is such a dare devil...she always has to try to climb, sit, or stand up on things..anything she can. It's ridiculous and I try to warn her of the consequences..but she has to learn the hard way at times.
Zoee's face has change a lot to me. And she seems so tall for her age. I will find out stats next week when I take her for her 18 month check up and well visit. Can you believe she is about to be 18 months old??
