Brownie Bakin'

Zoee loves to help in the kitchen.  She asks me every day what she can help with.  I hope this continues the rest of her life (which I'm sure one the teenage years hit..they won't last)..HA HA  She's such a great lil' helper, too!  Here we made some brownies cause we had a nasty sweet tooth craving.

Zoee's First Day of Ballet

Zoee's first day of Ballet was today.  She was soo excited to go and she had a blast!  She's going to really love it, I believe.  I took a few pictures before and after class.  I am kind of bummed I cannot watch her during class..but the instructor says it's too distracting.  There are quite a few girls in her class.  She can't wait for next Wednesday and she is the most precious lil' ballerina ..EVER!

YEA..It's September!

Can you tell we are excited it's finally September!
We are ready to have some fun ...festivities start this week.
Zoee will start Dance this week and then Monday will start gymnastics.  So our Monday and Wednesday nights will be busy busy.  I am also starting to work out again at the YMCA...and I can't wait.  We will also be helping Mom and Dad get their new home in order and decorated.  I can't wait to help decorate..one of my favorite things to do.  Fall is upon us and I cannot wait until it gets cooler.  It's been soo hot here.  We are ready for the Fair, Lily's Birthday Party, and many many more fun things to come.  I will be blogging about them..so can't wait to show you pictures!

Labor Day Weekend

We didn't do much this Labor Day weekend..which is exactly what we wanted to do.  NOTHING!  We rested and cleaned out our closets to get rid of things that don't fit anymore.  Zoee has grown out of EVERYTHING.  She will be getting a new wardrobe for Fall/Winter.  We went and took some fun pictures..but it was soooo hot..so it didn't last very long. HA!

Football Time!

 We ARE!
We love football and Fall.  Here's some of the teams we will be rooting for..as always!

Mike's favorite NFL team..the Oakland Raiders..his dream is to make it to a game at the Black Hole one of these years..I'm hoping to help make that dream come true!
My favorite team-New York Giants- because of said person above.  I just love Eli...he's a great football player even though he has the craziest DOH! faces ever..HA!
And we couldn't leave our our favorite collegiate team..the Fighting Irish!
We hope they all pull off a great season..injury free! :)

Three Years/Five Months Old

Look how much she has changed in just five months!  WOW!  It's just crazy how fast she is growing up!
So we are now finished talking in months when it comes to referring Zoee's age..she is now three years and five months old!  This year is just flying by.  When I took her to the doctor this month..she weighed 43 lbs and is 3 foot 8 inches tall.  She is as tall as a 5 1/2 year old..geez!  This explains why she is wearing a 5/6 in clothing..ha.  She said she is not chubby at all..perfectly proportioned..which makes me very happy.   Zoee's comfort is still milk..even though she gets 1% now and not very much of it.  Doc said as long as I don't give her over 12 oz a day she will be fine.  She has done great being potty trained..so much easier now and she even wipes herself..which is wonderful.  She is soo smart and sweet, too!  Her pediatrician raved about her hair cut (it's a swing bob) today..went on and on about how cute and it fit her sassy personality.  HA! She had to get her flu shot, as well, today.  Zoee hasn't had to have a shot in a long time.  She wasn't very happy about it..but didn't cry..just let out a little bit of a yelp.  She still is loving to read and has taken a new love to her Leap Pad..which makes me happy cause she learns a lot from it.  She is quite the crafter already and loves to draw..and she's really really good at it age three.  Her favorite shows are Spongebob, Doc McStuffins, Little Einsteins, and really anything on Nick Jr.  She is about to start ballet in a few days and gymnastics.  I found places that were cheap enough and have great reviews from friends so she's able to do both!  YEA!  So many pictures of that will be coming soon!

Zoee's Greats! (Pictures that is)

Zoee is going to be quite the artist..I'm sure of it!  This is an example of her taking a marker to her door.  I didn't know whether to be mad or proud!

 Devious!
Here's another example of why I think she is going to be a great artist..look at how she shadowed the details to emphasize..what three year old does this??  Really??
 Sweet Cheeks!
Daddy said get prepared for Zombies...so she did!  Here's what she came up with to take them down..HA!

Must of been a dang good party!  HA HA!!  Look at how she tore her room up!
Miss Hollywood reading her magazine in the van.
I love how when Mike tells her to run and get some outside clothing on she has to be fashionable!

Pizza Smeetza

Zoee is old enough to make us pizza..I cannot believe it!  I left her add the sauce, cheese, and toppings and she had a ball.  And it was delicious might I add.

OMG..The Pain!

Mike and I rarely get a night out by ourselves.  But Courtney had scored tickets to Summer Mummers (we thought we weren't going to be able to go this year)..and I was sooo excited.  I love to go to Summer Mummers ..it's a blast!  So Mike and I are heading to Midland that evening to have some fun..and by the time we reach Midland I am doubled over in pain.  I knew I wouldn't be able to sit in the folding chair that is at Summer Mummers..so I was sooo bummed.  It kept getting worse and worse..and Mike decided to rush me to the ER.  They got me back pretty fast cause I told them I felt extremely nauseous..which I was..the pain was just too much!  They took me back for a CT scan and x-ray...and then hooked me up to an IV and injected an antibiotic..nausea medication..and pain killer.  THANK GOD!  I have never been in that much pain EVER..and I have been cut open to get Zoee out..been in a ton of wrecks..etc..  They determined I have a kidney stone.  Size 3 mm.  It's passable he said..so they sent me home with four medications and told me to schedule an appt with the urologist.  I saw the urologist several days later and the pain seemed to be excruiating at night.  He said that I needed to pass it on my own..he gave me two weeks.  If not, then I would have to do surgery.  I haven't felt any pain the past couple of days..so I think I might have passed it without knowing.  I have a follow up appt this Thursday..and he'll do another x-ray to see if it's still there.  Hopefully it will be gone and I won't have to worry about it anymore cause it was the most horrific pain I've ever endured.
