4th of July

We had a wonderful 4th this year.  We spent it with my best friend, Mindy and her family out in the country where she lives now.  We got to shoot all kinds of fireworks off and the kids had so much fun.  It was like a panorama of fireworks all around us for about 4 hours straight.  It was amazing!  Phaelen (Sebrena's boyfriend) came down to visit and they had a fun time dancing and laughing.  The kids swam for a little while...ate BBQ and made some s'mores.  The best year yet with some great friends!

Picnic in the Park with Pre-K Friends

 Playing at the park with our friends for a play date.  Zoee was able to see two of her friends that she went to Pre-K with and they had a blast running around and eating a picnic lunch together. Sweet girls!

Green Thumbs

Dad gave us some onions to plant early in Spring.  Mike and Zoee have been nurturing them all Spring and the first part of Summer.  They picked them yesterday and we had some of them for dinner and they were delicious.  They both have green thumbs.  Zoee loves gardening with her Daddy! :)

Lubbock Weekend Getaway

We went on a weekend getaway to Lubbock.  We had a good time getting away from the monotony and Odessa.  We went to Lubbock Water Rampage, a local water park.  It was a great way to cool off..get some exercise and relaxation.  Zoee and Sebrena had so much fun.  After that, we went to our hotel and got dressed and went to eat dinner at one of my favorite restaurants, Chuy's.  They have the best food.  I had a giant burrito (well, could only eat half of it), some yummy rice and charro beans (delicious).  We went and checcked out their newest Wal-Mart.  I was thoroughly impressed with it.  Nothing like the ones we have here in Odessa.  It was fully stocked, nice looking outside and in, and it had a wide variety of items they don't carry here either. :(  We let our food settle and then took a trip to Sheridan's.  Sheridan's has the most yummy frozen custard (like ice cream) ever!  If you haven't tried it there..you need to.   We decided we were too tired to go swimming again at the hotel so we went back to our room and played a game called Quelf.  Some of the questions were a bit hard for Zoee..but we improvised and she had a lot of fun playing with us, too.  It's a very silly game that was a ton of fun.  Our weekend was a wonderful one spending time with each other.  I love moments like these.

Swam with the Fam

 We went and swam with the fam.  We all love swimming so much.  We had the best time diving and taking underwater pictures.

Father's Day 2014

 We took Mike to eat at Genghis Grill and ate yummy Monogolian food and Dr. Pepper Floats.  These girls sure love their Daddy.  Mike is such a wonderful father..I'm so glad that God placed him in my life and blessed us with smart, beautiful girls.
