First Park Playdate

As you probably already know, I have joined a Mommies group, which I'm really enjoying. I hosted a playdate at one of our local parks today so we could get out and get some fresh air. Zoee had the best time. We haven't been to very many parks because she is just now getting old enough to get on some of the play things they offer at the parks around here. She had her fingers smashed and was knocked down by a girl that looked to be about 3-4 years old (not anybody's kiddo that were in our group) and I'm so glad she didn't get injured. She also had her fingers stepped on while trying to go down the slide and came over to tell me about it. It was almost like she was tattling in her own li'l babble. I also caught her with what looked like a lemonhead (hard yellow candy) in her mouth, from which she picked up off of the ground. YUCK! If it looks edible, I guess she's going to be the one to put it in her mouth. But even after all of this..she had a blast! It was nice getting to meet two new ladies from my area and chit chatting a bit. I've already set up two other playdates for the next two weeks because it was fun getting out for an hour or two. Zoee hasn't been eating very much for the past few weeks...but when she got home from our playdate she devoured her dinner. Guess she worked up an appetite! So I'm thinking this is going to be a good thing..hopefully it will give me a chance for some social interaction and Zoee a chance to actually eat! LOL
