Our lil' Artist

We seem to have a lil' artist in the family already. Zoee made her first drawing on the "wall". Thank goodness it was in crayon and a peach color at that. You have to look very carefully. But this pic was taken after she was in trouble for it.

Princess & Super Hero Family Night

Every so often our Chick-fil-A hosts different types of Family Nights. This is the first one for us to attend and we loved it. What a great thing to put on for the community! They had all types of Princesses and Super Heroes there..along with bouncers, balloons, decorations, the Princess Cow & Super Hero Cow, and a neat lil' arcade on wheels. Of course, the food was great and they had this neat lil' photo booth, as well. We had a lot of fun and I know that Zoee really really enjoyed it. We didn't get out at all this week due to me being sick and me thinking that she was coming down with something at the beginning of the week. After the Family night we took Zoee to Progressive Park to blow off some energy. She loves going to the park and runs all around now and plays. She always motions for us to "Hurry up and C'mon"! It's adorable!

Summer Mummers with Sebrena

We went to Summer Mummers last night and had such a great time. I knew Sebrena would love it and so we took her for her last hooray with us before going back to Lubbock. Sad she is going home cause we have really enjoyed her being here. We've had a great week!

Let's Get Chocolate Wasted Bunco

July Bunco kicked off our 2011-2012 season with all my Dice Diva gals. So sad we are losing Christopher...but he's moving to bigger and better things..and I'm proud and happy for him! We're sure going to miss him and Ignacio! Alexis (and Courtney) did a great job on decorations and food. It was so yummy and a great theme!

We took Sebrena to get her eyes checked for the first time ever. She definitely needed glasses so we went to the place where you can get 4 pairs for $99.00. It's such a great deal! She picked out some really cute frames and

28 Months Old

Zoee is 28 Months Old!!

She is growing up so fast. She has changed a lot this past month. Everywhere we go--everyone says, "She is sooo TALL!" We are still having many play dates and she is getting her social interaction in almost every day. She is having a ton of fun and I'm so glad I'm able to give that to her. We are about to redo her bedroom in girly things. She is talking a whole lot now and we are able to understand the majority of it. She cracks me up daily and I don't understand how she knows and understands so many things already at only two years old. She is definitely smart. We read all the time and now we are working on flash cards for letters and sounds. Zoee's step sister, Sebrena, came to visit this week and she loves her so much.

She calls her "Sissy Se-Se-Bean-A" and it is definitely time to start on baby #2.

She's such a ham and acts so much like Mike!

Jumping Party in July

Jumping Party is always fun and with Sebrena here..it was no exception. Katelyn and Haelynn met us there and we all had a good time.

Firecracker Fandango-4th of July

4th of July was so much that evening. We went to our city's "Firecracker Fandango". We listened to Aaron Watson perform, walked the streets, rode on the train, listened to some other bands, and then at 10 pm watched our fireworks display. It was awesome!

Sebrena's 17th Birthday Party

Sebrena turned 17 in May..but because we didn't get to see her in May, we through her a 17th Birthday Party in July. It was a swimming party and we had family and friends over. We made cupcakes and Mike grilled fajitas. We had such a great time and so did she!

Sebrena Stays the Week

Sebrena came to visit us for the whole week on Friday. We have had such a great time. We started off the weekend right with her and I getting pedicures and manicures. It was part of her birthday gift. We have a slew of festivities planned this week. Pampering today, throwing her a birthday party tomorrow on Sunday, Monday is Firecracker Fandango, Tuesday is Jumping Party, Wednesday is shopping with Grammy & PawPaw, and Thursday she went to the eye doctor for the first time, Friday she got 4 new pairs of glasses, and Saturday we are taking her to Summer Mummers. We have a whirlwind of a week ahead and it's going to be a blast!
