Lovin' Her Grammy & PawPaw

Zoee spends a lot of time with her Grammy and PawPaw..they are never too far away. They try and see her at least once a week..and just adore her. I can't believe how much my Dad has really likes to take care of her. He's more affectionate than I ever thought he would be. He cannot wait for her grow up so he can take her hunting and fishing. Grammy just loves spoiling her!

My Stepdaughter, Sebrena
Chilling out, relaxing..all cool

Sebrena is my stepdaughter. I've been in her life since she was 9 years old. She is now 15. We've had our ups and downs..but that's to be expected with stepdaughter/stepmother. She's a very intelligent, talented (she sings and dances), and well-rounded teenager. Having her around Zoee is a little different because they are so far apart in age. I think that when Zoee grows up she will look up to Sebrena. I have both her and Zoee's pictures up on my shelf in the living room. I was looking at it the other day and I can't believe how much they look alike. They both have the Arguello eyes..big and beautiful.
Fantastic 4th of July
We had a wonderful 4th of July weekend. Mike had the whole weekend off, which is really rare. We decided to go to Levelland and spend time with my friend, Jennifer, and her family. We popped fireworks and I just knew that Zoee would be scared and start to cry..but to my surprise she didn't. She loved them. Even loved the sparklers.
We went and visited most of the day with Mike's family. Had a nice visit and got to see the whole family. On the way home, we dropped by Jillery and Tyler's new place in Klondike (A.K.A...middle of nowhere) HA HA! Mike didn't finish popping all of his fireworks from the night before, so we went down to Tyler's mom's house and the boys finished popping them. They looked like two lil' boys out there having fun. It was an eventful weekend...and glad Zoee got to experience her first 4th of July.

Three Months has come and gone...

Grammy's giving her moochies..and she's trying to give them back.
First of all..I cannot believe I'm a mom and second, I cannot believe I'm a mom of almost a 4-month old lil' girl. She is getting so big..and she couldn't be anymore lovable and adorable. She's learned to roll over ..she's extremely strong (legs and arms)..she babbles and laughs..heard her laugh out loud yesterday for the first time and she's giggled two different nights in her sleep. She must be having funny dreams. We have a doctor's appointment tomorrow so I get to see how much she weighs and how long she is. She's drinking 4-5 ounces of formula in one setting and she still sleeps wonderfully through the night...I'm so excited about that. I've started her out on cereal once a day..but she's only eating a few bites right now. Getting her used to it. She loves the thought of eating..but doesn't like the rice cereal too much. It's so exciting to see her grow up..but I wish she would slow down just a little bit. It's going by way too fast. Before I know it, she's going to be crawling and then walking everywhere and talking back to me..lol I can't believe there's a lil' Amanda and Mikey around..cause she looks like the both of us. It's crazy cause she already has shown her temper..she throws lil' fits. Both sets of grandparents are spoiling her so much. But...of course, babies cannot be spoiled..she gets so many kisses and hugs ..and her favorite is eskimo kisses. Mike and I are really so fortunate to have such a smart, beautiful lil' girl and couldn't be more blessed!
I was also very excited to hear that Jillery and Tyler are going to have a lil' boy. I'm so glad she gets to experience everything that I previous went through and the loving moments of becoming and being a mom. It's extremely challenging..but very rewarding. So I'm excited for them!

2 Months Old = Way 2 Busy

Mike pretending he was giving her a list of groceries to write out...c'mon Mike..let's not get ahead of ourselves..I want her to still be my lil' baby

Sitting up in her bumbo all by herself for the first time. She was having a grand time.
Wow, does time fly! Zoee is now 2 months old and is already a spitfire! She is so full of personality (when she's awake) LOL
I cannot believe how much she has already grown and changed. She is now sitting up in her bumbo by herself (meaning she is not going to be a bobble head for very much longer) She is strong and loves to smile all the time.
She loves laying on her stomach and loves to be swaddled at night real tight by her daddy. She loves to talk (even though it's basically cooing and babbling right now) and can you believe she has started to teethe already. Yeah, no sign of teeth just yet...but she is a drool bug and a half and when she's in pain..watch out..she's a screamer.
She does great out in public, loves the outdoors...still has her days and nights mixed up..even though this week (our 8th week) she surprisingly has slept through the night the past few days which is totally awesome..maybe we can establish some sort of a routine now.
I just love her so much...we have a lot of fun together. She likes to laugh at me..and we sing and dance around and are already playing patty cake and I recite her ABC's to her every day and a little of the Spanish that I know. (which is not much)..HA HA! Sometimes I feel like Dora the Explorer..cause I will say things in English and in Spanish. She loves me to read to her and absolutely loves bathtime (as long as she's in the water).
I cannot wait to see what the next few months holds for us as she grows..it's going to go by so fast..I just know it..cause these past 2 months have flown by. Mike and I have so much fun watching her grow and he's such an awesome daddy. I knew he would be.
So here's to her future looking bright and peace and happiness to you all!
